City Center
The City Center Road Upgrading Project is part of the BIG-Z initiative to improve urban mobility and accessibility in Zanzibar. The works involve the rehabilitation and surfacing of major road corridors, installation of proper drainage systems, and integration of pedestrian walkways to enhance safety.
This project aims to reduce travel times, improve road safety, and support local economic activity by providing better access to markets, businesses, and public services.
